It's all new...

Well after a week of swimming and floating at the pool with Mimi and visiting family Isabella is now back home and struggling to find her place in the family. So to find creative outlets for her in the cold snowy spring has been challenging to say the least.

Today we got lucky Isabella got to ride a pony at the stables in Northville with her grandpa Tim and mommy. She had so much fun and can't wait to go again. She woke up so early and picked out carrots and stuffed her lunch box full to feed the horses.

Here are some photos of her and Cinnamon, on the first ride. She did rather well since it was her first time. Once the pony started to trot and turn quicker Isabella was ready to take a rest and go feed some more horses carrots.

And our little Henry is doing great he continues to eat and eat and eat....Wednesday he has his first check up and we can't wait to see how he has grown.

And then there were 4

Well we welcome the arrival of Henry Martin on 3.10.2008.

Soon after we got home we remembered just how many diapers, wipes, outfits and blankets you use in a day.
The sleepless nights and the sounds of the little lamb cry and the simple miracles in life that make every long night worth it.
Henry as you guessed is not being the good sleeper we had wished for, instead he is one hungry little man, and up all night.

Shortly after arriving home mommy and Isabella got strep throat, and Henry got it in his eyes. Isabella also managed to rip off a toenail and get and infection as well. Then daddy got strep too!

We are all on the mend and lucky Mimi (Matt's mom) has come to town and helped out with Isabella, cooking, cleaning and overall care.
Nana (heather's mom) Is back to work after caring for Isabella while we were at the hospital and was a huge help in pulling off the unexpected early delivery of our new baby boy.

We celebrated Easter here at home and had lots of visitors it was a nice day for all.

Isabella has been adjusting... she has coated the dog in milk to make his hair shine, colored on her bookcase to make them pretty, stretched silly putty all over the dog & decorated her brothers hair with toothpaste and has hugged and squeezed the love out of her new brother.

**The doctor has assured us that the second child is always built stronger and it will be OK.

We are looking forward to some sleep, and more of life's little wonders like... how did poop get there? how did he pee under his armpit? and other silly stories to remember and cherish and share with good friends and family.
