Its been a long time

sorry for taking so long to post we are counting down the days till we leave to Twirl Mania In Disney World and look forward to a lot of fun! Isabella makes us so proud learning these routines and dealing with the long days of many practice runs...Good luck love Mommy & Daddy! Check out the new video!

Isabella won photogenic, 1st place for beauty,prettiest eyes, runner up outfit of choice and runner up Christmas wear and prettiest eyes for her age division.

Henry won a huge dog as the directors choice and no he was not in the pageant :)

Too much to do so little time

Sorry for not updating this sooner, Isabella has been a busy girl!
Here is her prize possessions her 2010 state trophies as she is the title holder for the state in her division in two categories!! Yeah Izzy!! 2010 NBTA STATE SOLO WINNERS NOVICE 0-6 & 2010 NBTA STATE BEST APPEARING BEGINNER 0-6. Next week she is on to compete in IDA at the MISS HOLIDAY PAGEANT for twirling, she will compete in 6 events and it will be a long....day!

Where are we going...what are we doing...

Well isabella did just fine at her pageant, she won photogenic for her age group and also overall photogenic. Then took princess for her age group, not to shabby.

We have been so busy lately and had a visit from Mimi and Papa bill.

Next week we are of to the mini nationals in Lansing, Isabella is really wanting to do well. Poor kid just wants a mini or grand supreme title and well its a very popular age group!

Then October 4 pageants, 1 parade, and twirlettes every Tuesday. We are also expecting to see Mimi and Papa Bill in October too!

I wonder what the kids will be for Halloween this year? Henry so loves dogs and isabella horses so i will have to see what i can find :)

156 days till we are off to Disney! Woot :) Isabella will be competing at twirl Mania tiny tot division and in the stars performance in Epcot!!! Go Izzy!!

Wow where has the time gone with wee beastie? Not so wee anymore? Lately we have started to call him boom boom, why....because every second you turn around boom he comes crashing off the couch, off his highchair, off just about any thing he can climb on.

He has been the flavor of the month at school and managed to be bitten very bad bites mind you 3 times since he moved up 2 weeks ago.

Henry has been slowing down weight wise and is steady at 34lbs and getting taller by the day.

Henry LOVES dog dogs, blowing kisses and spending time with his sister.

As soon as i can get a new camera i will post new photos but wee beastie destroyed my new camera last week.

However today after eating his oatmeal and decorating his and dog dog hairs in the leftovers, i put him in the tub....then he pooped in the tub! I love Mondays!

Well after much debate here is the two we are choosing for the Lil Miss Starlet of Michigan Pageant this weekend.

On another note Wooo Hooo we are closing finally on our Disney Vacation Club, we got 220 points a year and can't wait to take a trip. This process has been taking forever Disney is really slow at the ROFR.

The bad news is Matt needs a new car, his truck is at the end of its life. My sister has a blog "where did all these kids come from?" I need to change ours to "where is all this money going to come from?"

Well back to work and will post the results Sunday hopefully.

Packing Day

Well it is time to start pulling out the dresses and outfits and all the hair stuffs for the state level pageant, we will travel to on Friday.

I must admit i do this in advance because every day i find something else we needed to bring so it allows me time to keep trying to remember what i am forgetting. HA

Not easy for the 5 year old who has to compete with kids that are 7.

Her biggest struggle hands down is relaxing. The judges will be scoring her on First Impression (1 - 25 pts), Overall Appearance (1 - 25 pts), and Personality (Stage Presence) (1 - 25 pts). And Introduction.

It will be her stage presence that is the hard one! Outfit of Choice she will rock the house, and talent.

August updates

Well it has been a fun summer, watching the kids grow it's just awesome.

Last Friday August 7th Isabella preformed with the twirlettes in 3 numbers for the Saline Summer fest, she did great ( i promise to post some pics).

But back at the end of July she was crowned princess in her first full on Pageant. She did a baton solo for talent, Beauty walk, swimsuit (her fave), and outfit of choice.

Her age group is 5-9 and she did wonderful.

She has a parade in Dexter Saturday morning for the Dexter Daze festival. She will be marching with the twirlettes. Her favorite majorette Haley is off competing in the Miss America outstanding teen competition we wish her the best!

Isabella will be competing in the Lil miss Washtenaw pageant, Lil Miss starlet of Michigan, and Sunburst beauty pageants in October...we also hope to squeeze in a quick trip to Disney as we plan to Compete in the Twirl Mania contest at Disney in February 2010.

Well to sum it all up the pageant Diva is booked solid till next spring! And she starts Kindergarten in September *sniff....all grown up!

Speaking of growing up Henry is a walking talking (ok babble) lil Man! His Aunt Krista calls him french fry as she brings him a favorite treat Mc D's french fries when she visits.

Which is just about every weekend as we love having her lil monsters over, fun fun!

Nothing better than 5 mini monsters in an itty bitty house, we love it!

Ok back to Henry, well his hair is growing crazy he looks a bit like a surfer boy.

He just moved up into the toddler room at school, this is the room Isabella first started in at Tutor Time. He likes it a lot new adventures, friends and more room to romp.

He will be in this room till he is Two then he will move up again.

His newest words are, Hi Dadda, Dog dog, and bbbbella.

His favorite thing to do is climb in the refrigerator and press the button to turn the light on and off on and off.

He also just started having an attitude, when he protests it's on! Screaming, kicking, arching his back and a 34 pound monster is not easy to correct.

Yesterday was funny mommy (me) took the kids to the park while daddy was golfing (his favorite hobby).

Well there was no baby swing at this park? They both wanted to swing so i got Bella set up and pushed her a few times to get her going then put Henry in the other swing superman style so i could push him and he too could swing all was going great, squeals of laughter rang through the park. Then Bella wanted another big push....just then Henry oops flew forward face first off the swing into the wood chips, you might say superman took a dive and crashed?

I picked him up to find his mouth full of dirt and wood chips, faced scratched, wood chips all over his eyes, in his nose and hair a mess. I said Isabella we need to leave and get Henry cleaned up...she said oh mom just brush it off he is fine! We went home even though the princess objected and they splish splashed in the tub a bit till daddy got home. The end

Happy 5th Birthday Isabella

Happy 5th Birthday Princess! I can't believe how fast you have grown up. I remember it like it was yesterday 5 years ago, my goodness my back was just killing I was fearful of waking up your sleeping Dad to tell him it was time...sure enough daddy popped out of bed and almost forgot to put his pants on he was so excited for your arrival. A few hours latter you were here and it was love at first sight. We were a family.

You have taught mommy and your daddy a lot and we have enjoyed watching you learn and grow.

You make us very proud and we hope you enjoy your Birthday bike and your surprises....
