Gary and Smelly-This place is a zoo!

Well Isabella has two new pets to add to her collection Smelly and Gary the snails.
She has no idea but smelly is dead, just have not had time to sneak off to the pet shop and replace him yet. She is still waiting for her caterpillars to arrive in the mail as she had to have the butterfly bugville tree house. Everyday she asks are they here, are they here?
Once the caterpillars arrive she will have so many pets....
Dog-Mason
Kitty-Little Mama
Snails-Gary and smelly
Worms-Names change daily
And the butterflies.
This place is a zoo!
Well the weather was great today again we went for a walk and picked more flowers and looked for butterflies. Chuga Chuga cheeks just woke from his nap so that is all for now.

Chuga Chuga Cheeks

Isabella has a new name for her brother Henry, Chuga Chuga Cheeks!

And it is no wonder why today he weighed in at the doctors office at 14 pounds and 2 ounces.

I guess it is time to wear the size 2 diapers, no wonder the size 1 was a bit tight!

We have all been enjoying the wonderful weather and can't spend enough time outside.

Isabella is covered in battle wounds from her outside play her legs and arms are covered in band aids and bruises.

Here is a few quick pictures as I have to run Henry is hungry surprise!

That's all for now!

Zu Gast bei Freunden

Heute fuhren wir nach Hause Nils & Magalies.

Today we visited our friends Nils and Magaile, & mommy visited with Heike.
Isabella and her pal Nils played Pirate ship in the island cabinets with flash lights, while Magalie watched her mommy hold Henry petting him so gently. Isabella and I had a great time and can't wait to visit again soon. Henry is now sleeping in the bed he was up the entire 2 hours we were there. Isabella is still running around the house happy as can be, no sleep for her.

Today it was a bit colder than it has been in the last few days.

We have been enjoying the park near the house lately after school.

Here are some new photos, enjoy!

Nursery Rhymes

Rub a dub dub Henry Martin had to get in the tub...
Here is his first real water submersion bath
He was a bit stinky and had a doctors appointment today so we wanted him to be squeaky clean. Big sister helped mommy with this job she brushed his hair, and plugged her ears while he screamed.

Twinkle Twinkle little star here is big sister helping hold her brother last night.
She is so happy to help lately we rewarded her with new big girl light up sketchers shoes like she saw on TV and wanted.

Hey diddle diddle the cat and the fiddle the cow jumped over the moon....

And here he is going to the doctor today, clean and in a new outfit from Mimi's friend.

Are you ready for this...

He now weighs 10 pounds 14 ounces and is 22 inches long.

It's all new...

Well after a week of swimming and floating at the pool with Mimi and visiting family Isabella is now back home and struggling to find her place in the family. So to find creative outlets for her in the cold snowy spring has been challenging to say the least.

Today we got lucky Isabella got to ride a pony at the stables in Northville with her grandpa Tim and mommy. She had so much fun and can't wait to go again. She woke up so early and picked out carrots and stuffed her lunch box full to feed the horses.

Here are some photos of her and Cinnamon, on the first ride. She did rather well since it was her first time. Once the pony started to trot and turn quicker Isabella was ready to take a rest and go feed some more horses carrots.

And our little Henry is doing great he continues to eat and eat and eat....Wednesday he has his first check up and we can't wait to see how he has grown.

And then there were 4

Well we welcome the arrival of Henry Martin on 3.10.2008.

Soon after we got home we remembered just how many diapers, wipes, outfits and blankets you use in a day.
The sleepless nights and the sounds of the little lamb cry and the simple miracles in life that make every long night worth it.
Henry as you guessed is not being the good sleeper we had wished for, instead he is one hungry little man, and up all night.

Shortly after arriving home mommy and Isabella got strep throat, and Henry got it in his eyes. Isabella also managed to rip off a toenail and get and infection as well. Then daddy got strep too!

We are all on the mend and lucky Mimi (Matt's mom) has come to town and helped out with Isabella, cooking, cleaning and overall care.
Nana (heather's mom) Is back to work after caring for Isabella while we were at the hospital and was a huge help in pulling off the unexpected early delivery of our new baby boy.

We celebrated Easter here at home and had lots of visitors it was a nice day for all.

Isabella has been adjusting... she has coated the dog in milk to make his hair shine, colored on her bookcase to make them pretty, stretched silly putty all over the dog & decorated her brothers hair with toothpaste and has hugged and squeezed the love out of her new brother.

**The doctor has assured us that the second child is always built stronger and it will be OK.

We are looking forward to some sleep, and more of life's little wonders like... how did poop get there? how did he pee under his armpit? and other silly stories to remember and cherish and share with good friends and family.
