Prize winning pumpkins, allergies and fall fun!

Fall Fun with the Strozeski Kids...

Henry is well at least for today, he has had many asthma episodes lately and we have been on edge awaiting the next attack. He is seeing a pediatric specialist and they have pinpointed his biggest trigger...allergies to milk protein. It all made sense we had just started supplementing more with an organic formula so mom could get some work done during the day and well like clock work 20 minutes after the bottle he would be red in the face, rapid breathing and gasping for breath. Mom has to not have any milk protein in her diet now and he has had to switch to a hypoallergenic formula for supplementation. He is getting better but wow that was and is very scary.

Isabella's twirlettes are going well she had a blast in the homecoming parade and can't wait till her miss majorette holiday competition and the upcoming holiday parade with a visit from santa too!

The kids had a great Halloween, Henry took first place in the school pumpkin contest and Isabella took third place.
The year the kids dressed up as Lumpy and roo from the movie Pooh's heffalump Halloween, it was isabella's idea.

We did a haunted house at the school trunk or treat event and they had a great night of fun an were joined by their cousins Ricky, Clara, Ruby and Matthew at the event.
Mom, Izzy & henry also went to the Toledo zoo for the lil boo zoo this year and had tons of fun!
The family went to the apple orchard with Grandpa mike and had a fun lunch at Brown in South Lyon one Sunday afternoon, gotta love fall time!
We also had a great visit from Uncle Josh and Aunt Meg, they are so fun to have over and wish they could have stayed longer. Uncle Josh was a bit tired he just traveled from Africa and had not had a good nite sleep yet.
So Here are some fun fall photos for my lucky readers to enjoy! Happy Fall can't wait for my favorite Thanksgiving...mmmmmmm!
This year we are hosting and i am so excited to make some really yummy dishes for all the family to enjoy.

Lucky 7, pumpkin patch and more...

Happy 7 Months Henry Martin,

So he is eating solids now and weighs 27lbs, he is off the charts for weight and head circumference, and in the 9oth percentile in height.

He loves to crawl backwards, stand up with help and roll roll roll!

Henry is just the best of pals with his sister.

Isabella is now wanting to be called Izzy,

She is doing great in Pre-k! Wow we have noticed a huge change she is just soaking it all in and really applying her new knowledge in everyday activities. She is just growing up so fast!

Izzy is a twirlette now and has really enjoys every practice. She marched in her first parade for the home coming game and it was a 2.5 mile march. She stuck it out and smiled from ear to ear.

We went to the Cider mill this weekend and to a pumpkin patch what fun! However we were supposed to be visiting our family in Pennsylvania. Henry was sick with asthma and we had to cancel he just wouldn't be safe that long in the car. So hopefully the family will visit here soon.

That is all the fun for now,

Us4

Happy 6 Months Henry!

Well Henry is almost 6 months old so we started to feed him carrots and rice cereal.

His scoots backwards, lifts his tummy off the ground, grabs for toys, loves his sister a little more each day, and is learning to sit up with no help.

Here are some updated photos!

Isabella started Pre-K this week and loves it! She is such a big girl now and a really good helper.

She got a new Tinkerbell backpack and has been practicing writing her letters. This year she chose to go by the name Izzy. She is going to Twirlettes Tuesday for the 1st time.

Henry and Isabella have school pictures this Monday.

Well here is to another busy school year and lots of family fun!

~These are the Days~

Well our summer days have been so much fun I thought I would do a blog all about our fun adventures... from water parks, the zoo, birthday parties, swim clubs, ice cream cones and fairy gardens... Enjoy the photos!

Henry Has learned to giggle, laugh, grab toys, roll over and scoot. He enjoys sleeping in bed with his sister and really loves when she laughs at him. They truly are best friends!

Isabella has celebrated at many fun parties this summer, she went to Chuck E Cheese for the 1st time ever when celebrating her cousin Ricky's birthday, then went the next weekend to Nate,Zach and Andrews party at Chuck E Cheese too. She went to the Tutor time family picnic at a big park, went to Zoey's 4th Birthday and they had real horses with pink hair and purple hoofs (to match the my little pony theme), and most of all celebrated her own star spangled 4th birthday party in style.

We have gone to the Toledo Zoo as a family and Fisher Price had a toy demo station set up for the kids to try out new toys....

One day we also went to a local fish farm and had a nice lazy Sunday afternoon family day!

We spent a nice family fun Sunday at the Huron Valley Swim club and stopped over at a friends to see the new pet baby llama.

One special Sunday was spent making a fairy garden outside for Isabella's fairies to dance play and sleep over in any time of day or night...

So here ends our story of the summer of 2008, we are gearing up for a fun and busy fall with travels to PA, Reptile land, the zoo and the start of the twirlettes for Bella and Pre-K in September. Dad will travel to Grand Traverse Bay for work/golf.
Henry's 1st Halloween this October and his 6 month check up in September and maybe a tooth or two... so stayed tune for updates and fun photos~these are the days will remember~ All our love The Stro 4.

Bloobie & Henry

Here is Henry at the Birthday party for His cousin Ricky on Sunday. He is teething so we got him a blue teether that well is shapped like a boob. So we named him bloobie!
Henry and Isabella had a great time at the party.
Earlier in the day we went to visit llama's at a friends house and went to the Huron Valley Swim Club. What a nice weekend we had :)

My oh My have we grown...

Some days it is hard to remember he was so small, so i have to get out there photos the few there are of the "tiny days" and think wow how we have grown. At 4 months he weighed in at 23.5 pounds and is 27.5 inches tall.

I must admit it is hard to hold him some days and other days I find myself looking at other people's babies and wondering how fun it must be to still dress them in baby clothes (did I mention he wears 3t shirts!), or still use a baby car seat (he is now in his big boy Britax Marathon), or maybe be able to carry him with one arm (and not rip it out of the socket).

Then I think wow am I just the luckiest mom to have 2 perfectly wonderful kids and we love them just the way they are!
